Ventus at Metrogate is a condominium complex located in the greater Toronto area, developed by Tridel Corporation. The retrofit project involved removing one of the existing base-mounted pumps and replacing it with the series 4302 dualArm pump. Operating data, post retrofit, shows that the 4302 dualArm with a Parallel Sensorless Pump Controller is 85% more energy-efficient than the previously installed base mounted pumps. Armstrong recommended The Delta Hotel upgrade one of their existing DualArm pumps to a new Tango pump. Even though the original pump was only 3.5 years old, the new Tango pump is better - with a new design, control algorithms and performance management features. Installed and tuned to match the output of the original pump, the Tango pump is producing the same flow, but using 40% less energy.
