Original HVAC pump sizing:
1300 USgpm at 96 ft.

Revised sizing (based on estimates of performance):
1080 USgpm at 105 ft.

Post installation, the flow data from Pump Manager showed the requirements were even lower. Using software settings available in Design Envelope controls, Armstrong re-adjusted the output to 800USgpm at 80 feet. With right-sized pump selections and Design Envelope Intelligent Variable Speed technology, the pump energy savings are over $52,000 per year.

In two separate situations, Pump Manager provided key warnings related to system operation. This first instance was a report of unusual flow levels, and the second was a report of excessive vibration.  In both cases, the information helped prevent extensive energy losses and costly repairs.  The performance and efficiency of the pumps meant the project has qualified for a local government incentive program to offset project costs.
